Our young
ballerinas will spend this week learning a smaller version of a classical
ballet. As they study the story of the ballet, each day they will focus on
technical steps and learn the terms as they are used in classical ballet
classes. The characters of the ballet will be explored, complete with ballet
pantomime often used in traditional ballets. Special excerpts from the ballet
will be choreographed and a ‘sweet’ reenactment will be performed on the
final day.
